Diversity Leadership Project (DLP)


Description
The Authentic Diversity Leadership program is an interactive video, with “real” employees, identified to represent or advocate for one of the eleven protected classes. These employees are the narrators for the learning interactions and interactive video. SCORM Shareable Content Object Reference Model
Several employees, representing multiple departments, protected classes and ages are interviewed, on ZOOM. The interviews are transcribed, and an approved narration script will be produced from the interviews. The final interactive video will be produced from the approved script, then reviewed and approved by leadership. The video may be recorded on ZOOM, or on-site.
The online learning event will humanize the policy and procedure of the EEO policies, implicit bias and diversity leadership. Since Discrimination and EEO issues are sensitive, participants will personalize these issues, by hearing from their coworkers. The program will increase coworker to coworker discussion of this important topic. The online program will creatively incorporate interactive exercises, beyond multiple choice questions, to engage the learners in a way that makes a long lasting impression.
